IFLA Core Activity on Preservation and Conservation (PAC) MAJOR ROLE:  To ensure that significant library and archive material, whether it published or unpublished in all format will be preserved in accessible form for as long as possible. AIMS:  To raise awareness to make sure information and heritage professionals, governments and the public of the fundamental occupied by preservation in the management of an institution
