  3. 3. � Introduction � Research has demonstrated that social isolation leads to loneliness, anxiety, depression, and subsequently to negative health consequences. Social isolation can be defined as a lack of quantity and quality of social contacts. There are many risk factors associated with loneliness and isolation; examples include poor health, reduced social networks, poverty and low self-esteem. These factors have a reciprocal relationship since the impact of all factors is bilateral. Hence, there is increasing policy recognition that the alleviation of social isolation and loneliness among teenager people should be prioritized. And technology can be a tool to manage and adapt to changing circumstances and loss of capabilities. It has great potential to support teenagers in living and adulthood stage by addressing their mental, physical, and social challenges. By being dependent to social, stimulating, meaningful, and enjoyable activities, various technologies can enhance levels of connectedness and overall quality of life.

Do factors like time spent under technology have an association with social isolation? � 3. Is social isolation due to quarantine and pandemic related to technology dependence? � 4. Is there an association between social isolation and trust of intuitions? � 5. Is there a difference in basic stressors and coping during the pandemic for individuals experienced varying levels of perceived social isolation?
