  2. Slideshare as the word itself implies is to share your presentations – publicly or privately. Slideshare is a community where individuals can research topics, get inspiration for their presentation and share content.

  5. • Therefore, confidential and proprietary information will require a professional membership in order to be shared with its intended audience on SlideShare. Presentations on the Basic version are completely public • So presentations may need to be modified if key points originally needed some sort of motion to be understood. “Motion" or the transitions between slides do not translate to SlideShare
  6. Users do not even need to register for a username if they just want to visit presentations. However, to upload or to download presentations, one can register by providing a username, email and password. This is all that is needed for Basic registration!!!

  10. Sync audio to your slides – It is called slidecasting Upload your presentation file to SlideShare; or use an existing slideshow that was uploaded earlier. Go to Edit slideshow>Create Slidecast tab. Enter the mp3 url Synchronize slides & audio using the synchronization tool Click Publish
  11. Embedding Youtube Videos inside SlideShare presentations. Upload to SlideShare as usual Go to Edit slideshow>>Insert YouTube videos tab. Paste the YouTube URL into the box. Select where you want the video to appear in your presentation from the dropdown. Hit “Insert and Publish” and you’re done! The video will now appear inside your presentation.
