Abstract
This study aims to obtain information and find out about Efforts to
Improve Student Learning Outcomes of Students in Writing Creative
Drama Texts in One Chapter by Paying Attention to the Authenticity
of Ideas through the Two Stay Two Stray Model in Class VIII.3 SMPN
1 Batang Anai, Padang Pariaman District. This type of research is
classroom action research with 34 students. This research uses a
qualitative approach. Research procedures include planning,
implementing, observing, and reflecting. This research is carried out
in two cycles and is carried out collaboratively between researcher
and observer. The technique used in gathering Data are observations,
tests, field notes and documentation with the research subjects being
the teacher and students. The results of this study indicate that
student learning outcomes in the learning process by using the Two
Stay Two Stray learning model experienced an increase starting from
pre-cycle, Cycle I and Cycle II.

INTRODUCTION
The government strives and organizes a national education system,
which enhances faith and piety and noble character in order to educate the
nation's life which is regulated by law (1945 Constitution Article 31
Paragraph 3). According to the National Education System Law No. 20 of
2003 Article 3, National Education functions to develop the ability and shape
the dignified character and civilization of the nation in the context of
educating the life of the nation, aiming at developing the potential of students

2. to become human beings who believe in and have faith in God Almighty,
have noble, healthy, knowledgeable, competent, creative, independent, and
become democratic and responsible citizens.
According to Law No. 20 of 2003, the goal of education in Indonesia is
to develop the potential of students to become human beings who believe in
God, be virtuous, healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent and
become citizens who are democratic and accountable to the nation and
country. The government is trying to improve the quality of education in
Indonesia by perfecting the applicable curriculum in Indonesia, introducing
compulsory education for children aged 6 to 12 years and also trying to hold
an elementary tutor, small elementary school, long distance junior high
school and UT While it is an attempt by the government whose aim is so that
Indonesian citizens are knowledgeable and have skills, so that participants
are more creative and more independent and also responsible for their
actions.
In the learning process a lot of obstacles are encountered, for example
there are students who fuss, feel sleepy, talk to their friends, and there are
also some who fad annoying their friends in learning. The main thing is that
they only do it during the learning process. As if the learning presented by
the teacher does not make them interested, even they also look very bored in
participating in learning.
Based on the findings and observations above, the direct impact on
student learning outcomes. The value obtained is not in accordance with
what is desired, namely based on KKM. This is evidenced from the results of
UH scores made by many students who are incomplete, only a portion of
students who complete learning. For more details can be seen student
learning outcomes in class VIII.3 in the table below:

Based on the table of student learning outcomes above, it can be
explained that the students' understanding of the writing material of drama

3. scripts with original id is not optimal because of the problems that have been
stated above. So at the time
asked and held by UH many of them did not meet the KKM. From the
above results it was found that only 10 out of 34 students who completed the
study, or about 29% of students who completed, the rest many students who
did not complete the study.
Based on the problems above and the reality in the field, the writer is
interested in doing research, where in this study the researcher uses a new
learning model so that learning outcomes are expected to improve. Therefore
the title of the author's research is "Efforts to Improve Indonesian Language
Learning Outcomes of Students in Creative Writing One-Drama Texts by
Paying Attention to the Authenticity of Ideas Through the Two Stay Two
Stray Model in Class VIII.3 SMPN 1 Batang Anai, Padang Pariaman
Regency".
LITERATURE REVIEW
According to Slameto (2010: 2) learning is a business process carried
out by a person to obtain a new behavior change as a whole, as a result of his
own experience in interactions with his environment. According to Sardiman
(2001: 21) learning is a series of physical and mental activities, psycho -
physical towards the development of the whole human person, which means
it involves the elements of creativity, taste, and intention, cognitive, affective
and psychomotor. Learning can also be seen as an elaboration process in the
search for meaning carried out by individuals. The learning process is
basically done to improve personal abilities or competencies.
Learning is a process, an activity and not an outcome or goal. Learning
is not just remembering, but it is broader than that, which is experiencing.
Learning outcomes are not a mastery of training results, but changes in
behavior (Hamalik, 2012: 12). Meanwhile, according to Dalyono (2005: 49)
Learning is a business or activity that aims to make changes in a person,
including changes in behavior, attitudes, habits, knowledge and skills.
According to Kimbel (1964) quoted from Supriyadi (2012: 27) learning is a
change in behavior that is realized and arises due to practice, experience,
training, not accidental.
According hamalik (2006: 30) learning outcomes is that if someone has
learned will be a change in behavior in that person, for example from know to

4. know and not understand to understand. Based on Bloom's taxonomic
theory, learning outcomes within the framework of study are achieved
through three domains, two of which are cognitive and affective
Sukmadinata (2011: 102) learning outcomes or achievements are the
realization or expansion of one's potential abilities or capacities. Someone's
mastery of learning outcomes can be seen from their behavior in the form of
mastery, knowledge, thinking skills and motor skills.
According to Hanafiah (2009: 41) Learning model is one approach in
order to anticipate changes in student behavior in an adaptive or generative
manner. The learning model is very closely related to the learning styles of
students and the learning styles of teachers. Royce (in Trianto 2011: 142)
Learning model is a plan that is used as a guide in planning learning in class
or learning in tutorials and to determine the learning tools included in in
books, films, computers, curriculum, and others.
According to Ngalimun in Ridwan (2014: 105) Learning of the Two
Stay Two Stray model is by means of students sharing knowledge and
experiences with other groups, the syntax is group work, two students visit
other groups and two other students remain in their groups to receive two
people from other groups, group work back to the original group, group
work, group reports.
Based on the definition above, the Two Stay Two Stray learning model
is learning by the method of group division, after the group is formed the
teacher distributes assignments in the form of problems that they must
discuss the answer, after intra group discussion selesia two people from each
group leave their group to visit with other groups, group members who
cannot work as ambassadors (guests) have the obligation to receive guests
from a group, their job is to present the results of their group work to these
guests, two people who serve as guests are required to visit all groups, if they
are over fulfilling their duties, they returned to their respective groups.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
This type of research is a classroom action research (CAR). This
research was conducted at 1 Batang Anai Middle School which will be
conducted in the July-December 2017 Academic Year. Subjects used to use the
Two Stay Two Stray class VIII / 3 learning model at SMP Negeri 1 Batang
Anai 34 people. This research was conducted in the 2016/2017 academic year

5. I semester Ie July to September 2017. The research procedures consisted of
planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. Data collection techniques
were observation, instrument filling, interviews, documentation. Data
analysis techniques by percentage.
RESEARCH RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Cycle I
Planning
The application of the Two Stay Two Stray learning model to improve
student learning outcomes is guided by the research steps formulated in the
research procedures carried out, among others: At this stage the researcher
prepares a learning kit consisting of RPP 1, LKS 1, formative test 1 questions,
and tools other supporting teaching tools.
Implementation
The implementation of teaching and learning activities for the first
cycle was carried out on August 10, 2017 in Class VIII.3 with a total of 34
students with creative writing learning material in one round drama by
paying attention to the authenticity of the ideas. In this case the researcher
acted as a teacher. improve the learning process that has not been maximized
at the first meeting. The second meeting in the first cycle was held on our day
on August 24, 2017 with the material Writing creative one-round drama
script by paying attention to the authenticity of ideas

From the table above, it can be explained that after applying the two
stay two stray learning model in the first cycle, the average learning outcomes
of students are 69.85 with 69% of students completing (19 students) and the
remaining 31% not yet completed (15 students).

6. Thus, based on the table of student learning outcomes above and the
explanation it can be concluded that there are still many students who have
not yet finished learning. Thus, there are still 15 out of 34 students who have
not yet completed their studies or by 31%. These results are smaller than the
percentage of classical completeness in the process of learning the desired
Indonesian language by 80% of students who are active in learning with
KKM by 80.
Reflection
In the learning process, students who get excellent grades have been
seen to be able to carry out learning activities. But here the teacher must be
demanded to be creative in conveying learning, whether it is using media or
other supporting materials so that students are not bored, the teacher is still
dominant for lectures, as well as uneven group division.
In the learning process in this activity, after students present their work
reports, the teacher should clarify the material discussed by the students, but
it is not optimal because: a) The teacher is not optimally managing the
training settings, causing students to work less, b) The teacher is less effective
in managing the class , because students fuss when expressing opinions,
write reports. The results of the above reflection become guidelines for
improvements in the second cycle, so that an increase and student learning
outcomes
Cycle II
Planning
The application of the two stay two stray learning model to improve
student learning outcomes is guided by the research steps formulated in the
research procedure including: RPP 2, syllabus, LKS 2, formative test
questions II, and teaching tools that support learning by using models two
stay two stray
Implementation
The implementation of teaching and learning activities for the second
cycle was held on Thursday 31 August 2017 in Class VIII.3 with 34 students.
At this meeting, there were learning materials for writing a one-drama drama
script by paying attention to the rules of writing a drama script. The second
meeting was held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 with 34 students with
learning materials..

7. Observation
From table 3 it can be explained that in this second cycle by applying
the two stay two stray learning model the average learning outcomes of
students were 83.97 with the number of students completing 88% (30
students) and the remaining 12% unfinished (4 students).

Thus, based on the table of student learning outcomes above and the
explanation it can be concluded that using the two stay two stray learning
model can improve student learning outcomes, because only 4 out of 34
students have not reached KKM. So this model is very suitable to use.
Therefore, because in this study had reached the target, this cycle was
stopped.
Reflection
Based on the results of observations (observations) researchers with
observers can be described that the implementation of Indonesian language
learning by using two stay two stray learning models in cycle II can improve
student learning outcomes in writing creative one-story drama script by
paying attention to the authenticity of ideas. While the problems found in
cycle I have been resolved both from the teacher and the students themselves,
therefore because the targets and completeness have been achieved and the
applied model has been successfully implemented, this cycle is stopped and
no longer needs to be continued to the next cycle.
Discussion
Based on student learning outcomes in the first cycle and second cycle
that have been conducted by researchers, then the changes seen during the
study on student learning outcomes through the results of this study indicate
that the use of two stay two stray learning models has a positive impact in

8. improving student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the more solid
understanding of students towards the material delivered by the teacher
(student learning outcomes increase starting from pre-cycle, cycle I, and
classically.
Based on data analysis, the activity of student learning activities
obtained in the learning process by using the two stay two stray learning
model in each cycle has increased. This has a positive impact on student
learning outcomes that can be shown by increasing the average value of
students in each cycle that continues to increase. For more details, you can see

CONCLUSION
From the results of the analysis conducted in this study, the following
conclusions can be drawn. The average ability of students to write creative
one-round drama scripts by paying attention to the authenticity of ideas
using the two stay two stray learning model is better than using conventional
learning models. student learning in writing creative one-round drama
scripts by paying attention to the authenticity of ideas in Indonesian subjects.
The results showed a classical increase in the Pre cycle, cycle I and cycle II.
For teachers, it is better to use the two stay two stray learning model in
teaching. It is expected that the teacher or students use the pre-test in
teaching and learning activities before determining the learning model that
will be carried out in class to see the students' initial abilities. this is only up

9. to the extent to which the application of the two stay two stray learning
model can improve student learning outcomes, the researcher recommends
or suggests that these researchers can continue their research after this
research. This is important so that the results of this study are useful as a
counterweight to the theory and as a reform of the world of education,
especially teacher teaching competencies.
