● Each team consists of 12 players, in
which two teams of 9 players play
against each other.
● Both teams play in four turns each
turn has 9 minutes duration.
● When two turns is over this is known
as innings.
● On the basis of toss the captains
choose the running or chasing.
● Chasing team takes sitting position.
● The chaser should not cross the
centre lane.

RULES OF BADMINTON
● A player may not touch the net
with a racket or his body during
play.
● A birdie may not come to rest or
be "slung" from the racket.
● A birdie may hit the net on its
way across during play and the
rally can continue.
● A player may not reach over the
net to hit the shuttlecock.
● A loss of serve is called a side out
or fault
● In class games will be played to
