38. HOW TO PLAN
1. Safari & Trip to Victoria Falls was organized by professional safari planner,
customized to what we wanted. I highly recommend:
Andrea Radke, Authentic Africa (based in Calgary)
https://authenticafricatoursandsafaris.com/
2. Do it yourself road trip. We booked rental car and accommodations
ourselves for 2-week road trip. Lots of options e.g. through
https://ca.hotels.com/
3. Get various immunizations and preventives well before you go.
4. Get an unlocked cell phone and learn how to use it. Good to get local SIM
card and data plan (~$10/GB) so you can access Uber and Google Maps.
I got a: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B09J2KLBCN $300 and MTN plan.
5. Mostly safe, but have to be aware.
6. Water can be good is some places, but best to drink bottled. Food and
wine are very good and inexpensive.
