3. • Qualitative data are data related to the category or
characteristic of an object, for example : the most favorite
subjects (mathematics, biology, english, phisycs, etc), parent
highest education (elementary school, JHS, SHS, or college)
and so on
• Data qualitatif adalah data yang berhubungan dengan
kategori atau karakteristik (sifat) suatu objek. Contohnya data
mengenai mata pelajaran yang disukai ( matematika, biologi,
b.inggris, fisika,dll) pendidikan tertinggi orangtua ( SD, SMP,
SMA, atau perguruan) dsb

numerical recording (in the form of figures). For
example : data about height (145cm, 150cm, 152cm,
etc), the number of students in the school (800
students, 1000 students, etc)
• Data quantitatif adalah data yang diperoleh dari hasil
pengukuran yang bersifat numerik (berupa angka).
Contoh : data mengenai tinggi badan (145cm, 150cm,
