Der Vortrag startet mit der These, dass die Märkte insgesamt deutlich dynamischer geworden sind und im Zuge der Digitalisierung noch dynamischer werden. Die heute üblichen hierarchischen Organisationen sind geronnene Marktkenntnis. Das erlaubte die effiziente Abwicklung immer gleicher Geschäftsprozesse. Durch die größere Marktdynamik brauchen wir allerdings adaptive Organisationen und das beherrschen hierarchische Organisationen nicht. Stattdessen sind teambasierte Netzwerkorganisationen notwendig, in denen die einzelnen Elemente befähigt sind, marktrelevante Entscheidungen zu fällen. Beta Codex und Soziokratie werden auf ihre Eignung untersucht. Beide ersetzen feste Positionen mit flexiblen Rollen. Konsent und konsultativer Einzelentscheid werden als übliche Entscheidungsmechanismen in Netzwerk-Organisationen vorgestellt.

In organisations that change, emotions are key to understand safety and engagement, motivation and resistance. As leaders, we need to use our own emotions to our advantage - instead of repression or feeling overwhelmed.
