AMEC has the ability to place highly-qualified
special inspectors where the work is—both for
long and short-term assignments.
Experience
AMEC’s diverse inspection and testing services experience covers a wide
variety of projects including mid and high-rise office buildings, parking
garages, heavy industrial and civil developments, libraries and educational
facilities, sports complexes, airports, residential subdivisions and railroads.
Many of these projects had construction costs in excess of $50-million,
were highly visible public and private developments, had complex
and technically challenging components, and required the
full-range of inspection and testing.
Welch Plaza Mixed-Use Development, Seattle. Review
of geotechnical construction documents, geotechnical
construction observation, environmental services, and
special inspection.

AMEC has offices in nearly every major
U.S. city that fabricates materials such
as structural steel and pre-cast concrete
including Portland, Vancouver (British
Columbia), Salt Lake City, Phoenix,
Albuquerque, Nashville, Atlanta, Boston,
Philadelphia, San Diego, and Anaheim.
AMEC’s overall geographic coverage will
provide for continuity and reduce out-
of-town expenses should fabrication of
materials occur outside of Seattle. AMEC
is also able to assign special inspectors
overseas should fabrication take place
outside of the U.S.
Quality deliverables,
available electronically.
AMEC maintains a state-of-the-art secure
web site where all test reports and daily
field reports will be posted at no additional
cost to the Owner. AMEC project test
reports and project deliverables are created
in standard Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
applications, and can be rendered as
Adobe PDF’s to facilitate electronic access.
Of course, we will be happy to distribute our
reports via the U.S. Postal Service should
that be Wasatch Development Associate’s
preference.
No special or proprietary software
applications are needed to use the AMEC
ProjectWeb, which can be accessed via
commonly available web browser programs
such as Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Authorized ProjectWeb users will be
assigned unique usernames and passwords
to enable them to log on to the site and
view the field reports from any computer
connection on a 24/7 basis. Perhaps the
single greatest advantage of the AMEC
ProjectWeb system is that AMEC’s field
reports can be accessed immediately
without delivery delays.
