RESPONSIBILITIES
The pedagogy in its journey over a decade has witnessed various methods of teaching, with each
experimentation of teaching methodology stemming into new ways & routes of betterment. The present
challenge of teaching through various strategies has finally led to improvised learning methods in the form
of flip-teaching, communicating as much as teaching, consistent & improvised student engagement,
teaching through differentiated instructions, teaching through the ‘reverse process’ for deeper
understanding of the topics, inclusion of the innovative teaching methods through various math software
& simulations & advanced systematized planning of the lesson plans, all laid out successfully through
principled planning. The efforts would continue further for the uplifting of education system, thus meeting
through all the key factors in my pedagogy as demanded for the IBDP viz. the learner profiles, international
mindedness, TOK, historical facts, social ethics, trans-disciplinary teaching & real-life applications of the
subject. The extended essay in mathematics is ever challenging experience & rejuvenating passion in IB
pedagogy. The students’ tasks involving data collection, math modelling, mathematical investigation &
various explorations of real-life applications of mathematics have been some of the successful and timely
opportunities for experiential learning through connection of math topics to real-life.
My responsibilities in the previous and present institutions have been as follows:
1.) Flip teaching methodology
2.) Cooking club in charge
3.) CAS supervisor
4.) Mentoring the mentees (grade-10 & grade-11 boarders in the hostel)
5.) As a member of GSIS team in making a detailed rubric for ‘accreditation of international
certification’
6.) Workshops for teachers on Orientation of IBDP, TOK & various different teaching strategies.
7.) Worship sessions on practicing the art of living for a happy and peaceful life.
Note: With my immense passion to connect mathematics with various approaches and my ability to lead

IV.) Physical fitness is the top priority in my teaching principles. Being a sports person, I would like
to be part of the fitness training program in the institution where I work.
I strongly believe in the balance of physical state along with mental state of body, mind & soul for
effective teaching and learning.

In my previous experiences till date, I have witnessed and enjoyed various services in the form of:
I.) Reusing the waste papers (especially the one-side printed papers in our xerox room) to be
reused for making artistic & creative objects using origamy technique. The theme of the
project which stands for ‘transform’, meaningfully defining in terms of transforming the used
papers into valued purposes as a process of recycle has produced an opportunity for feeling
responsible for sustainability and future globe.
II.) Vermi-composting the vegetable peels & fruit peels from the school dining hall into making a
fertile manure for growth of healthy plants, thus exhibiting the complete life-cycle process.

DETAILS OF MY TEACHING EXPERIENCE & SCHOOL-RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES The pedagogy in its journey over a decade has witnessed various methods of teaching, with each experimentation of teaching methodology stemming into new ways & routes of betterment. The extended essay in mathematics is ever challenging experience & rejuvenating passion in IB pedagogy.
