12. Master thesis (20 ects)
• Thesis proposal and full thesis – under supervision of an experienced
researcher.
• You will receive a list of thesis topics offered by staff members of
S&O, Cogn, and Health Ψ. You can indicate your topics of interest
and will be allocated to a topic & supervisor.
• You will be informed on the procedure in the upcoming weeks (tight
schedule).
• It is also a possibility to do your thesis extern (e.g., TNO).

13. Master thesis
Till end of January 2013:
Thesis proposal and detailed planning 14 weeks
From Feb till June 2013:
Actual thesis research: data collection or
getting to know your data file, analysis, write up 19 weeks
Standard deadline full thesis: June 2013
NOTE:
• Internship opportunities may result in tailor-made schedule with
later deadline.
• In September, first individual mentor-meeting: thesis is one of the
topics on the agenda.

14. Internship (10 ects)
• Preferably you start an internship after you finished most of
your courses and most of your thesis.
• The timing (nr. of days a week) of the internship is flexible,
and depending on your wishes and those of the organisation
• Finding a place: finding one yourself or apply to listed
organisations. Criteria in the internship manual on
Blackboard.

intervention program to promote health behavior.

Methodology and Statistics

pass the course (≥ 5,5)

25. Procedure to subscribe
Subscribing with Usis for 1st semester courses of 2012-2013 will be
possible this afternoon between 12.00-15.00
• In January 2013 you subscribe for the courses of the 2nd semester
• Read carefully in Usis the remarks (e.g. “Students Occupational
Health Psychology”, “international students”, “English”), so you
subscribe to the right coursegroup (act. codes of the courses)
• If Usis reports for a chosen elective: “Full” or “waiting list” there is
a realistic possibility that you can not follow the course. However, if
it is a mandatory course for your master you will always be placed.

– submit the application form for graduation in time -
best you can do is to apply for graduation when you
have 40 ECTS
– diploma’s are dated on the last working day of the
month
– Official graduation sessions are scheduled four times
a year
