AIM : The following analysis has been done to find the effect of wall window ratio on a building’s
solar gain, heating design and other such factors.

The whole analysis has been done on design builder
to get a brief idea about how the software works & in
order to better understand the working of wall-
window-ratio; it’s effects on a building; changes
caused in the WWR and it’s effects. Following are the results of the simulation.
1. `WWR @ 25%
Inference : we can easily see that since the WWR is quite less, most part of the room doesn’t receive sufficient
daylight. Parts near the windows receive a max of 94 lux. The condition of the room is way too underlit.

Inference:we can see a huge difference when the WWR is changed, the room although seems to receive less
dalyight but isnt as underlit as in the previous condition. PARTS NEAR THE walls can reach upto a max of
94lux, most part of the room remains lit throughout the year.
3. WWR @ 35%
Inference : the room now seems to receive a bit more light than the previous setup, also there’s more heat
as the size of the window increased with the increasing open size. Much part of the rroom reaches upto
94 lux.
4. WWR @ 40%
inference: this setup receives the max daylight inside the room., as it can be seen in the annual reading, it is
the max and ther aren’t any spaces that are underlit.
