Broad Vision
The biggest challenge faced by mankind today is Energy, Water and Food Security. For us to sustain
Energy, Water, Food and Society as a whole over time, we need to optimize and balance each
individually as well as have a holistic approach for Sustainable Development.
History warns us that when once-powerful societies collapse, they tend to do so quickly and
unexpectedly. Peak usually means - Peak Population with Peak Needs, and hence Peak Vulnerability.
The pursuit of short-term gains at the expense of long-term survival is the very essence of collapse.
At JAISuS, we believe that Sustainable development is all about Creating Value that is Repeatable and
at a minimum input/output ratio.
The universal Sustainable Development Model suggests that Creating Value can be defined as “Utility or
Profit”, Repeatability can be defined as “Effectiveness or People” and Minimum input/output ration can be
defined as “Efficiency or Planet”.
The above forms the very basis of our vision at JAISuS – “Creating Repeatable Value Efficiently”.
We believe that it is up to the People to effectively Conceptualize and Design the future that uses the
Planet efficiently which has finite resources for sustainable Implementation and Management, while
attaining maximum Profit i.e. utility or satisfaction having Optimal Operations Management.
Identifying the individual needs and challenges of each segment i.e. Energy, Water and Food across
various sectors as well as of Society as a whole, strategic focus of JAISuS for providing sustainable
solutions, products and services is divided into following three areas:

Implementa*on

and

Management

Opera*on
  and

Op*miza*on

Concept
  and

Design

Our Offering
JAISuS is formed with an objective to provide end-to-end Hardware / Software Solutions and Services at
design, implementation and operational stages of each Energy, Water and Food Industry individually as
well as have a combined sectoral solution approach for a true Sustainable Development of society and its
infrastructure.

Independent & Combined Segment Overview
As much as we think, we know about our Energy, Water and Food resources and situation around the
world, we really do not know anything. We are facing a triple threat of Energy, Water and Food Security
globally.
JAISuS – Joule / Aqua / Irrigation Sustainability Solutions
Energy security – (JOULE) is the availability of natural resources for energy consumption in an
individual country or within the world as a whole. Access to cheap energy has become essential to the
functioning of modern economies. Energy security has emerged in the form of the increased world
competition for energy resources due to the increased pace of industrialization in countries such as India
and China. The uneven distribution of energy supplies among countries has led to significant
vulnerabilities.
Water security – (AQUA) basically means the reliable availability of an acceptable quantity and quality of
water for health, livelihoods and production. A water secure world integrates a concern for the intrinsic
value of water with a concern for its use for human survival and well-being. Water security also means
addressing environmental protection and the negative effects of poor water management. It is also
concerned with ending fragmented responsibility for water and integrating water resources management
across various sectors – finance, planning, agriculture, energy, tourism, industry, education and health.
Food security – (IRRIGATION) refers to a situation when all people, at all times, have physical and
economic access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food to meet their dietary needs and food preferences
for an active and healthy life. Four pillars of food security are availability, access, utilization, and stability.
Food availability relates to the supply of food through production, distribution, and exchange, Food
access refers to the affordability and allocation of food, food utilization, which refers to the metabolism of
food by individuals and Food stability refers to the ability to obtain food over time.
Sustainable development will not be achieved without Energy, Water & Food secure world.
At JAISuS we believe that while each segment has its own challenges, opportunities of being more
efficient, and needs for new and innovative solutions, there is also a parallel and unprecedented need to
have a combined view of these segments. We also need to understand the complex relationship
between Food, Water and Energy.
Energy - Water - Food - ‘JAI’ – It takes energy to transport and create pure water, it takes water to make
food, and then we are looking at food as vital part of the energy.
