*This school is a new family-owned school that opened last July 2015. I was the only
teacher for the school and was assisted by the directress (the owner). The school is
currently having a difficult time maintaining due to lack of students registering so I was,
unfortunately, laid off.

 Teaching Korean students in Korea on line through Skype video and voice calls,
age 6-17years old and adults ages 25-47 years old using chosen manual of the
students (ex. Express Yourself, Teen Talk, Side by Side, Total Reading, and TOEFL

English Teacher July 2010 – August 2012
The Units Inc. – Marcos Highway Baguio City, Philippines
 Handled individual classes (man-to-man) and group classes for basic to advance
English learning to both adults and junior Korean students.
 Defined and constructed the first group class syllabus to facilitate teaching of
students in groups, which was the first for the school
 Became a “stay-in” teacher assisting and providing support to mangers and
students by doing additional classes on the weekend and facilitating early
morning and evening studies
 The syllabus included various practical activities that are deemed useful for
students in real situations while they use the English language. Ex. a) self-grooming,
(b) basic values and courtesy, (c) collaborative learning activities in group
classes. Each activity’s objective is to enhance all aspects of students’ needs as
well as well increase interest in higher learning: cognitive, psychomotor, and
emotional aspects
 Developed and taught lessons on relevant children’s books, poems, movies, and
themes to promote and maintain students’ interest.

 Taught individual students from age 21 years and above covering the four-macro
skills of English
 Handled beginner listening group classes with 16 + students providing them with
