- 2. http://www.Kit-Catalogue.com Current Status KIT CATALOGUE ® • v1.1.4 currently available. • v2.0.0 in final testing. • Likely to be released on Monday, 15th April. • Main features: • Security improvements (HTTPS, etc). • Organisational Unit tree structure. • Departmental admin now has access to all items in sub-units. • Support for specific item editors. • Richer Item content. • More site customisation options (menus, labels, etc)

(v2.1.0) • Item collections and Private API. - 5. http://www.Kit-Catalogue.com Some suggestions KIT CATALOGUE ® • Usage Statistics • Automated Alerts/Feeds (new items) • Hierarchical Categories to support taxonomies • Shibboleth for local single sign-on • Bulk editor (change multiple items at once) • Import changes to existing items • More reports! • API for creating/editing items • More admin levels, lock editing of certain fields • More options for homepage blocks – recently added items, embedded content (videos, Twitter widgets, etc) • Search term statistics • Add common synonyms to search automatically (microscope = microscopy)
