Editor's Notes

  1. Good Afternoon Everyone. will started by Introducing my self and role in CSG. Ive graduated as an Honors Student in Management Information System. I began this journey as an IT/Mkt Assistant back in August and I have since successfully completed a 7month position. Picture :
  2. I was tasked with implementing different strategies to improve Information Sharing across the organisation. The outcome resulted in 3 separate work streams been outlined: Deploy a social network platform for employees to communicate internally (Social exchanging of company information will encourage the employees to get involved) Refining case studies across EMEA region (Previously Case Studies material would not have been shared and the valuable knowledge stays within that project team) Launch a Website in a grouping fashion for all the different departments (No centralised location to perform a search had existed) This area is crucial to the organisation, helping to grow the business environment which will improve access internally and to their customers
  3.  Chatter Deployed At the beginning there was a few options to assess and after comparing the features to each, Chatter was our Choice to Introduce to the organisation The first initial thoughts was to roll this out to Project Groups with the aim to reduce email volumes at the beginning. Soon after this, the prospect arose to start introducing some Job Families to Chatter Status of Chatter: Deployed 18 Group since I started- Divided into 12 Projects & 6 Family – totaling to 570 users assigned to groups Roll out of the Desktop Application in the first week of January Introduced Chatter Only Fridays for groups to make a significant reduction in the numbers of e-mails been shared In the next slide, a closer look to individual Chatter groups will be analyzed
  4. Since the first launched of the first group back in September, there has been many more groups becoming live and performing on this collaboration platform.   Here is an overview of the both a Project and Job Family Groups- consisting of Meteor Project and The Architectures & BC Group Meteor consists of 11 members and have made a massive contribution in making 313 posts to date –(Popular 2 topics –Morning Status, Performance CR) Arch & BC consists of 38 members and have shared 74 posts amongst the members – (New Project SRS, Organisational Readiness V9) A member from each group has provide their insight and opinion of Chatter: Meteor- Very helpful to let co-workers know about projects day to day updates and also about CSG updates/news Arch BC- Gaining Momentum and there is a higher interested to share their own experiences
  5. This slide highlights the responses that had influence the communication process within in the group : The research was conducted by following up on the users experiences within in the two most active groups The information collected showed if there was still a strong belief that this communication tool would perform. (We needed this to illustrate to further groups that internal communication is the way to move forward) Key Reponses Meteor – Decrease in Emails – Difficult to assess the volume but PM remain confident they are seen less been shared amongst group members / Cant quantified it exact but are confident - Chatter Only Fridays – Way to use more but they ending up enjoying it. Seen this intuitive has - Reaching – Members posts have started to be viewed higher up the business Hierarchy and visa versa down to the employees - Arch B&C – Sharing to a many locations Region/ The ability to exchange ideas and request inputs, support this group functionality Example of a feed- Pravina Release – Delivery of the 1.0.2 – Surajit is checking / Previous shared in one mail/ All Aware of this update, PM has expressed her gratued /
  6. So far I have uploaded 9 case studies to UNCLE . This are stored on a 2 Page format consisting of 4 different Section. We will follow the link to UNCLE to show an example: (TMG – Show Doc and PPT) - Concentrate on TAM slides Full Set Consistent approach across all the different product type. Was set to match Singleview, Have deigned template Create template for the remaining products All describe
  7. The Reasoning – Information amongst the organisation was scattered across different paths and links. Many items could be found in two separate locations Personal Review – Once I started here in this position – I found it so hard to find stuff and spent many hours searching for the information Reached out to senior members from different department of the organisation to build a community of links for each Needed a platform to provide a easy assess with a reliable navigation to the users– Job families in EMEA that are most accessed/ Key links to store Why doing it Purpose Gathered Have opened in the background -
