An innovative approach to Subsea Protection was taken with the first
Anadarko Subsea Completion, development of this unique design centered
around; reducing the weight and cost associated with Large Offshore
Installation Vessels. The design allows a typical workboat to transport.
Rigidizing to the conductor allows centralization reducing size and provides
workover access without Net Guard retrieval. The Flowine attachment was
further enhanced with a Screw jack mechanism to mate the flowline jumper.

Tieback Dollies
The Hinged Tieback dolly was developed for handling tie-back strings to
protect the metal to metal seals while making the trip down the catwalk and
picking up thru the “V” doors. The wheels are heavy duty capacity. The
metal seal protector is removable from the dolly providing protection until
removed prior to tripping in the hole on the rig floor.

An innovative approach to Subsea Protection was taken with three exploratory
wellheads of the coast of New Plymouth – Amakura Wells Subsea design, interface,
and development of a unique design centered around; reducing the weight and cost
associated with Large Shell protectors and innovative handling approach to remotely
installl in significant seas. The design allows a the Ocean Bounty to install the
structure thru access passages used for handling stack components and sometines
trees. The Temporary Mudmat I’terface allowed for centralization reducing size and
provide anti-rotation to provide anti-rotation thus allow the running tool removal.

Diverless Buoy Deployment System
Another first the buoy deployment LARS combines the versatility of a
transportable kit style “A” frame while accommodating two buoys, chain
and associated clump weights. The LARS can also be utilized to Install
subsea mudline trees. Built in a record 10 days from inception to paint.

Another first of it’s kind this large underground storm sewer pipe cleaning
system was used to remove sediment build-up inside a 12ft diameter monolithic
storm sewer built in the 1800’s. 40 ft beneath the city of Cleveland Ohio hydro
power was used, building a fluid head behind the screen and jet velocity moved
the sediment downstream to an extraction weir and sump. Normally pipes of
this nature would be cleaned by the use of heavy excavating equipment. Due to
the age and condition inherent with centuries of aging the sewer was preserved
without the use of said equipment. And they said it couldn’t be done – Subsea
Services proved them wrong.
