A ppt I created for my Spanish EFL Year 1 children who are learning Science through English. It’s a summary of the topic, “Animals” in our curriculum. Animals are living things: they are born, grow and change. Animals need water and food: carnivores, herbivores and omnivores. Animals move. Animal groups: mammals, birds and fish; their characteristics: mammals have live babies (viviparous), their babies drink their mother’s milk. Mammals have fur or hair. Birds have feathers, wings and two legs. Fish have scales, fins and live in water. Birds and Fish lay eggs (oviparous).
