When witchcraft comes to mind, you
think of people in cloaks creating
curses and hexes. You think of jars
filled with eyeballs and brains. You
think of the witches from movies and
stories. Witchcraft is actually very
positive and simple and they don't
practice anything negative. Today, it
has become more common and more known
to practice witchcraft due to the help
of social media. Today we're gonna
look at how social media has
influenced witchcraft and the
difference between it's history and
todays society.

Witchcraft has changed a lot
throughout the years. People had
gradually lost interest in witch hunts
and staring witch trials which has
allowed witches to live freely but the
fear of being caught was still around.
However, over the years, witchcraft
has been more known, people have
better knowledge on it and, most
importantly, it has been more
accepted, thanks to social media.

Overall, social media has made a
positive impact on witchcraft today.
It has helped create a community,
bring like-minded people together and
it has helped people who practice
witchcraft become more open about it.
With witchcraft being more accepted,
it has allowed people to share their
practice and knowledge on the likes of
Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. From a
personal experience, I share my
knowledge of witchcraft and everything
I learn onto TikTok and it has allowed
me to create a community and help
others that look for this information.
However, the use of social media
allows people to scam people and
spread false information. There are
also people who still have the
historic belief in witches are evil
and they work with the devil. Social
media has affected witchcraft in many
ways, positively and negatively but in
my personal opinion, I feel that it
has a positive impact as it has
allowed me to find information and
learn the true meaning witchcraft. I
has also helped me understand the
difference from fairytale witches,
