Introduction: In an exciting encounter in the Plate division of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2019-
20, Puducherry emerged victorious, defeating CDG by 8 wickets at the Kasiga College
Ground in Dehradun. Puducherry displayed a dominant performance, chasing down CDG's
total of 152 with ease, thanks to stellar batting performances from S Karthik and Arun

CDG Innings: Winning the toss and electing to bat, CDG got off to a shaky start as they lost
early wickets. Arjun Azad fell for a duck, caught by S Karthik off the bowling of Vinay
Kumar. Vohra, the captain, struggled to find his rhythm and contributed only 1 run off 20
balls. Shivam Bhambri and Bipul Sharma also failed to make significant contributions,
leaving CDG in a precarious position.
U Kaul provided some resistance with a well-fought 34 off 63 deliveries, but regular wickets
continued to fall. Jaskaranveer Singh's innings of 36 off 42 balls, supported by valuable
contributions from Preet Kamal (11) and Gurinder Singh (14), helped CDG reach a total of
