 Requires at least 7 hours of sun

 Harvested in fall and spring
 Keep away from cats
Knotgrass
 Simbolizes tying together of two people
 Native from Europe, presente in
Frobidenn Forest
 Height 5cm to 4m, irregular growth
 Halt animals growth
 Soil pH range of 6,1-6,5 to 6,6-7,3
 More sunlight, more growth
 Lots of water
 Used in polyjuice and love potions as well as
for treament of urinary infactions and fertility
 Flowers in summer: whites, pinks, and greens
Dittany
 Essential to healers, romancers and potioneers
 Aids in curign aliments, preventing scarrings and used
in love potions.
 Native only from Crete, Greece
 It must be dilluted for use.
 Height 20 to 30 cm
 Requires warmth and sunlight
 Soil pH range of 6,6-7,3 (Neutral)
 Temperature range of 13°C
 Seeds needs to be covered by soil and slightly by water,
water only dried soil, not putting too much water is
important

Dangerous Plants
The Mandrake (Mandragora)
 Height 5 to 40 centimeters
 Causes hallucination, comas and dreamlike status
 Used in sleeping, love potions and to unpetrify a person
 Causes death with their scream which is their way of
defense
 It is vital to use earmuffs when handling with it
 When a person dies with scream, mandrake dies too
 In Middle Ages, wizards let dogs pulling them up and it

 Widely applications
 Uses in floor coverings, healing, curing tooth aches, burns, eye diseases,
clearing cough and relieving stain in voice, helping people after stroke,
strengths mind and stomachs, mild tonic, calming nervous
 Qualities:
 Abortifacient
 Anodyne (relives pain)
 Anthelmintic
 Aphrodisiac (used in some love potions)
 Carminative
 Counters the side effects of hallucinogens
 Diuretic
 Hallucinogen
 Laxative
 Otalgic (cures ear aches)

Advanced Herbology
Bouncing Bulb
 Also known as Resilio bulbus
 They re able to jump around and will jump
through anyone when feeling threatened.

 Associated to sorrow and bitterness
 Widely used in potions
 Height from 2 – 8 inches
 Prefers salt water
 Used in potions to digestive disorders
 Induce sweating, stimulate the imagination, increase
hunger, stlle stomach, reduces pain
 If bitten by insect, place in it its leaves and flowers
 Also used to treat fevers, gall bladder and lover disease.

Non-Magical Plants
Non-magical Plants
 Non-magical plants have some similarities with magical ones. They
have effects of scents, calming, sleeping, some are poisoned, or
have other ways of protection, variety of heights and colors. They
also have unique requirements and qualities. It is necessary to
have the right soil, depth of the seed, amount of water and
sunlight.
 What differs them? Non-magical plants are lesser temperamental
which reduces the probability of explosions and all sort of
dangerous that decreases a lot
Lily Plants
 They vary in shape: bowl, funnel, recurve, star, trumpet
and color: blue, Orange, pink, purple, white, yellow
 Not all species produces flowers
 Requires nutritious soil
 Full access to sun of 5-6 hours
 Bulb planted ¼ inch to the ground
 Fertilize with water
 Height of steam of 1 to 10 feet, always green
 Their leaves do a process called photosynthesis. It takes

pain/ antispasmodic
 13. Antidepressant /ease
depression and anxiety
 14. Used in love potions
 15. Can decrease kidney
stones
 16. Menstrual regulator
(may be mixed with
motherwort for cases of
heavy flow too)
 17. Helps with kidneys
 18. Cleansing properties
 19. Anti-inflammatory
 20. Source of vitamin C
 21. Seeds are diuretic

cool rose water may be
applied to the forehead

The Gardening Effect
 Herbologists suffer with devaluation of their
profession once people associate them to
gardeners, don’t knowing the knowlodge and
importance they have
 They do not have fundings enough too. Potioneers
and hospitals made their donation but related to
herbs used in potions and healing
Alien Species
 Allien species are plants which do not pertence to
that habitat invading it
It enters the new habitat
Adapts to it
Reproduce and take out the sourcers
 The sourcers taken become insuficiente to the
native plants that die leading to animals die too
