Naturally Raised Lamb: Tender, American-Raised Cuts
Our naturally raised lambs are tender, flavorful, and brought to market
with our highest standards. Passionate ranchers breed
these mild-flavored lambs in Colorado on a
diet consisting mainly of grass and
flowers. They’re brought in weekly
to ensure the freshest taste and
best quality meat.
Kurobuta Ham: A Deeply Flavored Centerpiece
Only Metropolitan Market partners with the most trusted farmers to
bring you our Centennial Kurobuta Ham, from pigs that grow slower
for juicier meat. These beautifully marbled, deeply flavored hams are
nitrite- and nitrate-free, and hardwood smoked for great taste that won’t
overpower the natural ham flavor you love.
It’s available in the Meat Department in a whole bone-in, half bone-in,
bone-in steak, or boneless cuts, as well as a spiral sliced bone-in half
ham. Pick up our Kurobuta ham for an Easter meal you won’t soon
forget. If you’d fancy a bourbon glaze on yours, we recommend you try
Recipe #808, for a little extra sweetness to savor. Find the recipe at
the kiosk or go online to metropolitan-market.com/recipes.

Have a Little (More) Heart
Long-Stem Artichokes
Ever peel an artichoke to get to the center and get left
a little broken-hearted? Worry not, because long-stemmed
artichokes fresh from California offer several more inches of
delicious, creamy heart inside. Shave away the tough exterior and then cook your
heart out with a whole ‘choke — or just the stem, grilled, stir-fried, or sauteed in a lovely
olive oil over pasta.

Have You Tried Pizza al Taglio Yet?
We traveled to Italy in search of the best flour, the sweetest
tomatoes, the most authentic prosciutto, and the pizza-making
technique we’ve brought to Proctor.
Italian street food “pizza al taglio” means “pizza by the cut” and is
served by the half-pan, quarter-pan, and slice. The Deli team cuts
bubbling, cheesy pizza with scissors to order, fresh out of the oven.
Come try one of the many varieties we’re making hot all day long,
only at Proctor and just for you.
Twenty years after
opening our doors in Proctor,
we’re celebrating the newly
remodeled store — built to serve
you better. The Metropolitan
Market team is proud to show off
a larger fresh products section,
a bigger Bakery, and
expanded Deli choices.
Store Director Kelly Heinzinger
has been with the Proctor
Met Market since1996.
“Our customers are our
favorite part about being in
this community. They’re passionate about living here, they’ve embraced the
culture of the district, and we look forward to serving them every day.”
Kelly adds that she can’t believe her luck at having a long-tenured team committed to
making every day at Metropolitan Market great, and a customer base whose loyalty is
unmatched. “Thank you from all of Team Proctor for making our work so rewarding!”
