Stephanie Simmons
Otter Room |10:40 AM -11:25 AM
Everyone has something to share that can inspire, uplift and
change people, but they require“special handling”to hit your
target.
Dale will address elements of how to choose, design and de-
liver an inspirational speech that also entertains, persuades and
informs.
This will be based on her speech“Never Say Can’t”about my per-
sonal experiences with a close friend of Dale’s who is a quadriple-
gic – who will also be attending the 2014 District 13 Fall Confer-
ence as a new Toastmaster.
Dale is a member of Elk County Toastmasters club.
Are you struggling with attracting members to your club? Do

Have you ever wondered how some people seem to have no
trouble accumulating wealth while others can’t ever seem to get
ahead? Ultimately, the distinguishing difference between them is
the principles they use to manage their money.
In this workshop, you will learn to develop a positive attitude
about money, budget your personal finances, set a course for
achieving your long term goals, and make the whole process
simple, easy, and even fun to do!

Otter Room | 1:30 PM - 2:15 PM
In Toastmaster magazine June 2012, it stated ”Music may come
as close as we can get to expressing what we cannot say.”This
workshop goes one step beyond to enable participants to use
music to express, in words, their most intimate feeling and form
them into a speech that demands to be heard over and over
again.
Bill is a member of Cambridge Toastmaster Club (Ontario,
Canada).
Why do you move and where do you move when you speak? Are
you making maximun use of the stage? How do you map out
your speech to enhance your structure, content, and delivery? All
these questions relate to staging so, what is staging? This work-
shop will give you an introductory insight on how staging makes
your speech more interesting, understandable, and visible.

Missie Berteotti
Safe Harbor Room |1:30 PM - 2:15 PM
All performances need a certain blend of the how to’s combined
with the psychology or attitude. Whether it’s playing a golf
tournament, delivering a speech, being on a job interview, we
all have to learn both sides of this equation; the mechanics and
the psychology. As a Professional golfer for 14 years on the LPGA
Tour, it is Missie’s professional opinion that the mechanics are
taught much more frequently in our society while not as much
attention is placed on the psychology of performance.
Missie’s Mental Mastery Program ™ is a much-needed workshop
on how to learn about and experience the psychology of per-
formance! During this workshop, Missie is going to demonstrate
and lead a interactive practice session on 3 of the 10 mental
mastery principles outlined in Missie’s book.
Missie is a member of Dawn Patrol & ProMasters clubs.

  • 13. 13 Where Leaders Are Made 13 Missie Berteotti Safe Harbor Room |1:30 PM - 2:15 PM All performances need a certain blend of the how to’s combined with the psychology or attitude. Whether it’s playing a golf tournament, delivering a speech, being on a job interview, we all have to learn both sides of this equation; the mechanics and the psychology. As a Professional golfer for 14 years on the LPGA Tour, it is Missie’s professional opinion that the mechanics are taught much more frequently in our society while not as much attention is placed on the psychology of performance. Missie’s Mental Mastery Program ™ is a much-needed workshop on how to learn about and experience the psychology of per- formance! During this workshop, Missie is going to demonstrate and lead a interactive practice session on 3 of the 10 mental mastery principles outlined in Missie’s book.
