This dreams journal has the capacity for 60 dream recordings, each dream on a double spread. There is a set of questions for you to fill in just before you go to bed, and then further prompts to complete when you wake. These include writing down your dream, your interpretation, your emotions, and a little area for a sketch.

3. How To Use Your
Dream Journal
Complete the ‘Before Sleep‘ section around 30
minutes before you head for bed.
‘Food‘ Section
It seems that certain types of food can hinder or
help activity in your dreams. Write down any food
taken 6 hours before retiring.
‘News‘ Section
If you found something interesting in the news, it
can play on your mind and may invade your dreams.
‘Important Thing‘ Section
Without knowing it, that one important thing you
did today may be the catalyst for your dream.
‘Mood‘ Section
It‘s an obvious section, but your retiring mood may
reflect the heightened activity of dreams
‘Last Thing‘ Section
Exciting movie? Scary drama on TV? Been down a
rabbit hole on the Internet? All these can have a
marked effect on your dream state.
By recording these details, we can add or eliminate
certain elements for a better dream experience.
4. …Then complete the ‘After Sleep‘ as soon as you
wake. Keep your dream journal near your bedside.
‘What Happened‘ Section
Get down as much as you can here, the quicker the
better. We can lose a dream in seconds, so jot down
the important bits first and then elaborate on them
later as a few ‘aha‘ moments occur.
‘Draw‘ Section
This is optional, but sometimes a shape, sign or
building can come to you again in other dreams. Just
a small rough sketch will suffice.
‘Emotions‘ Section
Tick all that apply. Finding a pattern can help you
either do more or do less of the things in the ‘Before
Sleep‘ sections.
‘Signify‘ Section
Try to work out why you had this dream. Was it
understood? Did you find inspiration? Did you see a
warning? Log your interpretation for future reference.
Finally, sum up your dream in one word.
Overtime, you should be able to manipulate certain
aspects of your dreaming. You may even be able to
experience lucid dreaming in which we control the
direction of our dreams.
Best advice? Practice often!

7. Dreaming is your
Own fantasy world!
Dreaming is like stepping into a fantasy world where
anything is possible. Recording them, as soon as you
wake, can be a fun and insightful way of determining
your workaday state of mind.
Dreaming is an escape from everyday life and can
detail events we dare not attempt, or even consider,
when we‘re awake, in the real world.
Your dreams may be telling you something your
conscious mind cannot compute. Therefore, it‘s
important to take note of events happening in your
dream state.
Dreams can inspire, warn, scare or even delight you.
Recording your dreams can reveal patterns, reboot
memories, give obvious solutions to problems and
inspire direct actions.
Food, stress, confusion, excitement, anticipation,
overworking, guilt, love, as well as many other
emotions, affect the way we dream. Finding patterns
can help find the reason why we experience this
fantasy world and how we can have more of the
same or reduce what we dream about.
