Joshua S. Gildemeister,
son of Daniel Gildemeister
of Twin Lakes, recently
completed U.S. Navy
basic training at Recruit
Training Command,
Great Lakes, Ill. During
the eight-week program,
Gildemeister completed a
variety of training which
included classroom study
and practical instruction
on naval customs, first
aid, firefighting, water
safety and survival, and
shipboard and aircraft
safety.

Spring carnival fundraising
On behalf of Modern Woodmen of America, Kristi Schaef-

and some students of Trinity Preschool with a matching
funds check as a result of the school’s spring family car-
nival which raised $2,800, $750 of which was matched.
The funds are being used to update the large motor play
areas for the students to enhance their fitness time.
