Hired as Floor hand and learned motor man and derrick man duties in order to gain
experience for promotion. Operated forklift and completed all duties required of me by
my Driller. Safely and efficiently perform all duties assigned by the Driller during
drilling, work over and completion operations. Ensured the drill floor was kept clean
and that all equipment is in its proper place. Ensure all operations are proceeding in a safe
manner, and responsible for correcting or notifying responsible person of any unsafe acts
and/or conditions which exist. Work with casing, cementing, logging, and directional
crews in performing specialized operations related to downhole operations. Make-up /
break-out tong operator. Back-up tong operator. Replace tong dies. Check and replace
snub lines and break out lines as required. Inspect spinning wrench for proper and safe
working order. Grease as required. Ensure air lubricator has required oil. Perform
housekeeping around the rig as required, such as keeping the rig floor clean and clear of
all tools after each trip. Keep draw works and rotary lubricated. Required to do rig and
equipment maintenance such as chipping, scraping, painting, scrubbing, and cleaning.
Helped with day to day operation of the rig. Worked at great heights and in extreme
weather conditions.
