1. What is COPEC?
COPEC’s mission is to help improve the quality of life for Central Ohioans through
adult workshops and educational seminars. Our goal is to provide a safe and
ethical educational environment for organizations to make available to their
members and employees.
All COPEC programs are offered free of charge and presented by COPEC
Members. COPEC Members are vetted, experts in their field, and focus on
education without any marketing or sales.

What are a speaker’s responsibilities?
 Raise awareness of the COPEC Mission
 Respond timely to speaking requests
 Timely payment of Membership Dues
 Get Involved – attend quarterly lunches, join a committee, and support COPEC
 Login, submit, and actively manage speaker profile through COPEC website
What are the next steps?
1. Meet with a Speaker Committee member
2. Attend a Group Interview
3. Receive approval by COPEC’s Board of Directors
4. Attend Orientation
