Administrative Assistant
Reported to Medical Director and Administrative Director in the Department of Pathology &
Laboratory Medicine. Managed the daily administrative functions within the department. Kept
calendars electronically and emails for both executives, set up meetings, attended and did
minutes at five monthly committees, prepared monthly reports, tracked and processed payroll,
ensured all laboratory licensure and accreditation was kept current. Updated all policy manuals
throughout the laboratory.
1998-2001 The Greenland Corporation, Towson, Maryland
(Formerly the Berkshire Corporation, Baltimore, Maryland)
Property Manager
Managed a 156 unit apartment community with minimal supervision. Supervised maintenance
and support personnel. Worked closely with contractors, residents and prospective residents.
Inspected vacant units to ensure quality workmanship in the turnover process was complete for
future move-ins. Routinely walked the property to ensure the buildings, hallways, and the
grounds were kept to the highest standards. Conducted quarterly inspections of the property with
the owners. Prepared annual budgets as well as quarterly analyses in order to control expenses
and maximize income. Responsible for hiring and personnel actions. Prepared correspondence
using Comptronics Property Manager and Microsoft Word., maintained employee files,
processed bills for payment and approved payroll.
1995-1998 Shelter Properties, L.L.C., Baltimore, Maryland
(Property Management Company for the Greenland Corporation)
Assistant Property Manager
Assisted the Property Manager of a 320 unit apartment community. Maintained and entered
invoices into the computer, processed monthly rental payments, met with potential prospects,
toured model apartments and leased apartment homes. Prepared paperwork and processed
applications for new residents. In January 1998, I was promoted to Property Manager.
1990 – 1995 The Berkshire Corporation, Baltimore, Maryland

Accounts Payable Administrator
Assisted the Office Manager, screened incoming calls, greeted visitors, communicated with
office staff and prepared weekly payroll as well as quarterly and annual payroll reports. Handled
all phases of accounts payable for five individual property accounts. Conducted monthly cash
flow analyses for each account.
1985-1988 U.S. Army Hospital, Berlin Germany
Secretary
Secretary to the Adjutant of the Berlin MEDDAC. Performed routine clerical duties such as
phones, payroll and prepared monthly reports. Attended meetings with high ranking officials,
taking minutes and transcribing them into final format. In addition, I was responsible for the
hospital telephone control log issuing control numbers to those placing calls to the United States
as well as Internationally. I assisted in the implementation of a much needed updated filing
system, prior to the Inspector General Inspection. During the summer, I trained and mentored
students during the “Summer Hire Program.”
