2. My artist Asafum Quavo and we are here to get a publishing deal from Universal Music
Publishing Group. Asafum is a rap artist located in Wrightsville, Georgia. He draws influence
from artists such as Big Sean, Drake, and J Cole. The way I discovered this artist was simple. We
are friends and been friends for like 6 years now and one day he just started rapping as we
were playin video games and I told him he got to start doing this for real and that’s exactly what

The song we’re presenting is a song called Certain Love. We feel this song has potential to be in
a movie, video game, or commercial. This is a hip hop song that has a dark tone and a cinematic
feel. We really feel that Universal Music publishing Company is a perfect choice for us.

3. I feel Universal Music publishing Group is a great choice for several reasons. For one it has ties
to major record label, Universal Music Group. Another reason is because they provide artists
with every tool imaginable to strive and thrive in their own lane. The final reason is because
they field a diverse roster of artists and I feel my artist would be no different. With artists like
Billie Ellish, Post Malone, and Taylor Swift. He has a unique sound that’s totally different from
what you hear from guys in the industry and his desire to bend genres would be a great fit.
