3. Why KM Camp Philly? The intended result is a “reboot” of the Knowledge Management Group of Philadelphia An opportunity to gather the broader community by developing an attractive program (planned speakers to open and close the event) An opportunity for the community to generate a session calendar that clarifies the topics important to the community An larger-scale and more intensive community event to promote networking, idea sharing and ways to coordinate more focused communities of interest

Proposed approach Half-day unconference (9 to 1) Saturday Regionally central location Large meeting room and break out rooms available Opening general session (1 hour) Community-generated session schedule (2 hours) Closing session/wrap up (1 hour) Sponsorship – keep it free/low cost and make it worth people’s while (food/give-aways)
