  1. 1. HOW DO I SEE MYSELF WORKINHG WITH A DISTRIBUTION COMPANY IN CAMEROON AND ANYWHERE? A PRESENTATION MADE BY JEAN MICHEL NNOMO (JMN) Consultant in Management and Leadership. March 2015
  2. 2. What could be the focus (main objective) of a company that distributes products in Cameroon and anywhere? Sales (With specific indicators in term of number or in term of percentage, increase the quantity of products that the company will deliver all around the country).
  3. 3. What could be some main specific objectives ? - Increase (according to specific indicator in term of number or percentage) the quantity of products ordered by each actual customer; - Increase(according to specifics indicator in term of number or percentage) the “Portefeuille client” in each region of the country.
  4. 4. What should be the key attitudes of people working to achieve these objectives ? - Be aware of the market situation; - Be attentive with customers, especially with the 20% of customers from whom the company make 80% of the sales; - Be proactive, diligent, have the desire to always do better as the days go by and be capable to lead a team by service.
  5. 5. What should be the aptitudes of people working to achieve these objectives ? - Have a good sense of work planification (daily, weekly, monthly); - Master technics and tools of negotiation, market survey, reporting, report analysis, etc… - Master technics and tools of team management focusing on realizing company targets; - Master the technics and tools of customer relationship management.
  6. 6. How can NJM help to achieve these objectives ? -Provide training and coaching to the management staff; -Provide support in building strategic and operational plans; -Provide support in implementing the plans.
  7. 7. Will the training and coaching be paid ? No (for some test sessions and according to a specific arrangements between the company and NJM). And Yes ( after the test sessions and according to a specific arrangements between the company and NJM).
