Corporate IP legal managers are facing increasing pressures to reduce the costs of IP procurement. To date, most methods of cost control focus on obtaining discounts from outside counsel, fixed fee arrangements or bringing work in-house. These methods lead certainly can result in lower costs, but "outside the box" thinking can actually result in increased success. This presentation provides in-house legal managers with ideas on how to introduce new cost reduction strategies within their organizations.
