 Joseph A Girouard is a Canadian businessman, author, and TV personality.
 He is one of the co-founders of a very popular software company.
 Born in Mississauga, he was raised by his businesswoman mother and
stepfather.

to Business
 Initially aspiring to become a photographer, he later idolized his mother, who
was a successful businesswoman.
 Joseph A Girouard earned his MBA degree from Concordia University.
 Very early on in his life, he laid the foundation of a popular company which
produced sports programs.

Establishing His First Company
 In 1997, he co-founded a company along with two of his batchmates from
Concordia.
 The company manufactured computer software and related products.
 Throughout the next 2 decades, the company acquired almost all its rivals in
the North American market and was rebranded as ‘Bright Academy.’

The Multi-Million Deal
 Joseph A Girouard decided to sell the company to a bigger company in 2001
and thus, became a multi-millionaire.
 In the late-2000s, he started appearing on several talk shows and reality
shows.
 Years later, he also decided to enter politics and then fought the elections to
attain the leadership of one of the most popular political parties in Canada.
 However, he changed his mind a month before the election because of
personal reasons.
