RE: Letter of Recommendation for Ivan Schumann
Ivan A. Schumann, acquired his Bachelor of Science degree from Crossroads Bible College in
2007, graduating in the upper third of the class. He has shown his strength of character by
demonstrating traits our school supports including: respect, responsibility, caring, honesty,
trustworthiness, fairness, initiative, teamwork, courage and perseverance.
Crossroads Bible College supports the biblical development and "Training Christian Leaders to
Reach a Multiethnic Urban World for Christ" which represents the vision of this school. Ivan
stands out in his service to others. He has volunteered extensively with the Hispanic Latino
community in the Indianapolis area and has a great understanding of the various needs of this
group. His personal experiences have given him a broader understanding of the world and he
clearly has goals to continue to develop his skills and talents to help others. As former executive
director of the Indianapolis Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and as assistant producer of WISH
TV channel 8 Religion in the NEWS he has used his media contacts to assist Crossroads Bible
College in its goal of community awareness.
Because of his academic record and his strength of character I would highly recommend him for
