Envano is seeking a motivated, teachable and customer-focused Interactive Designer. Must
exude passion for new interactive design methods and a strong command of core design

The UI/UX Interactive Designer is responsible for helping guide the visual development and user
experience with key emphasis on audience engagement and needs in interactive channels -
including websites, mobile applications, social media, and more - for medium to large businesses.
This role coordinates with the Creative Director, Interactive Designers, Project Managers and
Account Executives to support their respective missions, ensuring positive results in overall
interactive brand positioning.
Integral to visual development and barrier free user experience, the UI/UX Interactive Designer
is responsible for a creating innovative design and development solutions, having a solid grasp of
the audience through user-centered research, and designing modern, clean and engaging
interfaces. A thorough understanding of usability and testing skills to ensure the quality of all
projects produced, this position’s success also hinges on a passion for professional skill
development and staying current on industry trends.
Candidates must provide a portfolio in interactive design, have the ability to adapt design style
to suit project needs - designing for both performance and aesthetics, and have a solid
understanding of core marketing concepts. Additional requirements include: fluency in
Photoshop/Illustrator or equivalent programs, web typography, CSS, Web Standards, HTML,
and website UI and UX.
Duties
 Act as the subject matter expert on crafting the appropriate UX / UI solution and defining the
vision of the end-to-end user experience.
 Design and aid in the development of websites, mobile applications, social media branding,
interactive campaigns, and other interactive platforms.
 Work closely with Product Managers, other Designers and Engineers to create a world-class
user experience

 Have experience in the application of user-centered philosophies and interaction design best
practices.
 Possess the ability to communicate design rationale in both internal and client facing meetings.
 Inform and assist in creating the necessary technical architecture.
 Demonstrate the ability to quickly execute design work with a high standard for quality within
time and technical constraints.
 Regularly share insights gained from audience behavior and monitoring to the internal and
external teams, to help evolve strategies in a timely fashion.
 Keep abreast of trends in the arenas of digital technology, interactive, and modern design
practices.
 Research and make recommendations for new development, growth and innovation.
 An ideal candidate will possess a strong command of user-focused digital design principles
and have the ability to communicate design rationale.

BASIC FUNCTION OF JOB
Working in conjunction with other User Experience Design staff and Product Managers, the User
Experience Designer will be responsible for the User Experience of technology products and
services.
WORK PERFORMED
 Job duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed).
The User Experience Designer supports all analytical and design activities around the
formation of software product solutions in terms of how end users interact with the technology.
 Creates and maintains artifacts needed to communicate design decisions and proposals,
including flowcharts, wireframes, mockups/comps and interactive prototypes
 May take a leadership role in product design discussions, including advocating users'
perspective and pushing for best-of-breed solutions
 May deliver products specific L1 demos to simulate upcoming software products and releases
 Conducts internal UX training sessions as needed
 Collaborates with products teams on all detailed product design activities

 Reviews UX proposals generated by team members for compliance with standards and design
principles
 Articulates corporate UX standards by means of UI patterns and best practices, assists in
interpreting standards
 Demonstrates understanding of value chain CRP3 (Customer, Revenue, People, Process,
Product) through actions and accomplishments
JOB REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
 At least 3 years of experience designing successful web-based products for
enterprise/financial applications/webapps.
 Proficient in HTML/CSS and expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
 Javascript/JQuery experience is a plus
 Ability to create both static and dynamic mockups to promote understanding of design
proposals among team members
 Must be self-motivated to prioritize and manage work load and meet critical project milestones
and deadlines.
 Must be an effective problem solver, appreciating the characteristics of the user population
 Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
 Track record of demonstrating control, ownership from concept to completion
 Knowledge of information architecture and user experience design strongly desired
