Jo was born and raised in a village in Romania where tradition is still alive, and moved to a big city at age 14 to attend one of the best high schools in Romania. She studied there until 2008, majoring in English, and then worked for her parents' company as an office assistant until 2011. In 2011, Jo came to Amsterdam to study International Communication Management to develop her professional skills and represent her parents' winery company in the future.
