  1. 1. U.S. Army Medical Training and Support Services USAMRDC at Fort Detrick, Maryland Since contract start in September 2014, 8-koi SME's have successfully conducted train-the-trainer (T3) certification for dozens of trainers and have trained nearly 2,000 personnel including Commanding Generals and White House personnel for the US Army Medical Research and Development Center (USAMRDC). Since 2019, we have managed a National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians (NAEMT) Training Site to offer the civilian version of TCCC, Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC). Scope: We provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and all other items necessary to deliver a range of high-impact courses to include:  Combat Life Saver (CLS)  Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for HealthCare Providers (HCPs)  Tactical Combat Casualty Care  Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (BLS and ACLS)  Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)  Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC)  Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) During the 2020 COVID telework period, we added the following NAEMT courses:  All Hazards Disaster Response (AHDR)  EMS Safety  Geriatrics for EMS (GEMS)  Psychological Trauma for EMS Patients (PTEP)  Tactical Emergency Casualty Care for Law Enforcement & First Responders (TECC-LEO)  Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) coming soon Effectiveness and Evaluation: 8-koi uses the Kirkpatrick Training Effectiveness Model - an industry- recognized best practice as a methodology to continually measure and improve training effectiveness. To date, 100% of 8-koi course attendees have successfully completed training. Our transition and year-over-year performance have been recognized by USAMRDC as superior. USAMRDC views the medical training and support services to be highly complex and successfully performed by our team based on meeting work schedules, providing specified services, and meeting contract terms without failure as noted in performance documentation. Solutions Delivered:  Ft. Detrick had been without a trainer for over a year and our rapid implementation of timely training ensured that the medics would not lose their license currency.  When an on-site training facility was not available, our team successfully coordinated utilizing a remote NIH location as training facilities until the onsite facility was available.  When illness impacted one of the CLS students, our team successfully rescheduled the student and completed training to achieve 100%.  Covered USUHS annual requirements by providing an ATLS course coordinator and ACLS instructors. 8(a) EDWOSB 8-koi.com Elizabeth Berry Vice President – Healthcare & Services 321.419.9378 Healthcare@8-koi.com NAICS 541611, 541214, 541614, 541930, 541990, 561110, 541219, 541511, 541512, 541618, 541690, 611430, 711510, 621111, 621112, 621340, 621399, 621999 ____________________________ “Service has been nothing but exceptional.
