Women under Violence
All forms of violence against women, physical
and mental, those arising from customs,
traditions or accepted practices shall be dealt
with effectively with a view to eliminate its
incidence.
Domestic Violence is the leading cause of
injury to women, more than car accidents,
mugging, or rapes combined.
 A monitoring committee should be set up to keep the
record of the rate of incidences of domestic violence
and immediate safety provision must be created purely
dedicated to Women Safety.
 Respective State Governments should be rewarded for
their improved check on Domestic violence.
 Awareness programs on Women Rights to curb the
situation more efficiently and effectively.TEAM :- CREDIT CRUNCHERS

Possible measures
• Enhancing the grass root level business ideas.
• Micro-Financial support to Self help business groups
Excellent steps taken by Govt. of India:
 UP Kanya Vidya Dhan Yojna Padhe Betiyan Badhe Betiyan
Scheme 2013
Uttar Pradesh Government
 The Indira Gandhi Matritva Sahyog Yojana (IGMSY) is a
Conditional Maternity Benefit (CMB) centrally sponsored scheme
for pregnant and lactating women.
 the Priyadarshini scheme aims at holistic empowerment of
vulnerable groups of women and adolescent girls through
formation of Self-Help Groups (SHGs)
IMPACT OF WOMEN IMPOWERMENT
 Married women have been found consistently to have higher rates of anxious and
depressive symptoms than married men. Power explanations for this difference predict
that employment for women, which is associated with greater power in the family,
would reduce women's symptoms to approximate men's more closely. Results on the
effects of women's employment, however, are inconsistent.
 As female education rises, fertility, population growth, and infant and child mortality
fall and family health improves.
 Women's increased earning capacity, in turn, has a positive effect on child nutrition.
 After providing social security woman can deeply impart in nation building in
different fields.
