B.B. Investment Casting has started in the year 2005 to manufacture of

Ferrous & Non Ferrous Investment Casting as per world wide standard
at Metoda Industrials Area situated about 13kms from Rajkot.
B.B. Investment Casting is an ISO 9001 : 2008, AD 2000 Merkblatt &
PED 97/23/EC certified company by TUV NORD.
At B.B. Investment Casting, we are committed to provide you with the
best casting & delivering just-in-time. Customers’ need has given prime
importance & quality is maintained at its best. Our well trained staff is
completely equipped to meet our customers ‘ requirements ’.
We have Installed Medium Frequency Furnaces 150kgs & 200kgs each of
Electrotherm India Ltd, We have shot blasting Machine make Patel
Furnace & Forging Pvt. Ltd. Baroda
Finish with close dimension tolerance. Also the quality control wing is
strengthened with the help of Q6 Bruker Quantron GMBH, Germany make
on line spectrometer, Universal Testing Machine(UTM), IMPACT Testing
Machine make by FIE Pune. We have also Wax Testing Facility.

up area is 3800 sq. meter.

11. The investment-casting
process, also called the lost-
wax process, was first used 
during the period 4000-3500
B.C.
The pattern is made of wax or a
plastic such as polystyrene. The
sequences involved in
investment casting are shown
in Figure.
The pattern is made by
injecting molten wax into a
metal die in the shape of the
object.

12. MANUFACTURING FACILITIES :-


13. The wax assembly is coated with a ceramic
shell by repeated dipping in ceramic slurries

and Alternately in dry beds of sand and
clays, heavy or thick sections are features of
any part, additional coating are to give added
strength to the shell. Thus eliminating bulging
or distortion of the casting to complete this
stage, the ceramic shell is heated and the wax
removed by De-waxing, leaving a hollow shell.
The most crucial stage of the shelling process
is the primary coating, where a very fine grade
of sand is used. This in turn results in a
casting with excellent reproduction detail and
the designated surface finish.


1 - Chemical Testing :
We have equipped our laboratory with
( Fe. & Ni. Base ) Spectrometer Make of M/s.
Quontron GERMANY to analyze chemical
composition of Incoming Scrape as well as
Finish Material Testing. We check each an
every heat before Pouring Metal in to Shell.
2 - Physical Testing :
• Universal Testing Machine.
• Hardness Testing Machine.
• Impact Testing Machine.
• Pyrometer.
• Metallurgical Microscope.(Type INBT-2)
• Muffle Furnace.
