Intertek India Pvt. Ltd. (ITS) is a UK based Multi-national Company and has operations in more than 100 countries worldwide.
Intertek (Consumer Goods) is basically into testing of garments, fabrics & other hard goods meant for exports. The Company
also carries out Factory Audit & product Inspections to check whether they meet the Buyer’s specifications.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
• (Oct 2006 to December 2010) – Asst. Manager Inspections
• Conducted Fabric Inspections for various customers like Gap, All Taylor, Liz Claiborne.
• Injecting new thoughts to maintain ever-changing quality parameters of all the clients.
• Managing inspection activities in the Northern part of India - Scheduling inspections, Report
Review & Report Sending to the final applicant. Resolving technical problems faced by the
quality Engineers during inspections.
• Field visits for training of inspectors & surprise audits on the on-going inspections.
