I reside outside of the country where I would like to do my internship,
can I still apply to the program?
Of course you can apply! Before applying please consider:
1- You need to have a valid work permit for Italy;
The selection process will be held in Italy and the internship program itself will
take place in Rome or Bologna, so you should be willing to relocate. We will
provide accommodation and reimburse travel expenses for those candidates
who will attend the On-ground Assessment in Bologna in May.

In case you would like to start the first leg of internship in September 2020, you
are required to attend the On-ground Assessment that will take place in
Bologna in May 2020

16. Will I receive feedback if I don’t get selected? When?
Yes. You will be informed of your application progress during each step of the
process by your registered email. Whether or not you meet the criteria to
progress on to the next application step, you will receive an email confirmation
regarding your status. If you do not hear back from us within 2-3 weeks of

17. When will the internship start and how long will it last? Is there any
flexibility with these dates?
The internship starts on September 21st 2020 and ends on March 19th 2020.

18. What are the normal work hours?
Normal work hours will be 40 hours/week from Monday to Friday.

19. Is the INKOMPASS internship paid? What contractual conditions will I
be under as an intern?
The interns will receive a competitive compensation. Further details will be

20. Will I be assigned a group project or an individual project?
Depending on the project scope and expected deliverables, projects may
require individual or group work. In any case, you can be sure that all
projects will be meaningful, challenging, and give you the opportunity to
showcase and further develop your skills, whether it is in an individual or
group setting.

21. What type of guidance and support can I expect to receive
throughout my program, to help develop me professionally?
Every INKOMPASS intern will receive day-to-day guidance and support from
their COACH, who has the same function as a supervisor. He / she will
introduce you to your project, clarify expectations, guide you on a day-to-day
basis, and provide you with feedback.
In addition, you will also receive support from:
• Your PROJECT SPONSOR, who will ensure you have everything you need in
terms of resources and budget to execute your proposals;
• Your BUDDY, who will help you answer general questions and network with
different people and departments in the company.

22. Will I receive feedback regarding my performance? When?
Your COACH and PROJECT SPONSOR will provide you with feedback throughout
your INKOMPASS experience.

23. Can I use my internship project experience as a university
assignment and / or as credits for graduation?
We can discuss this topic individually, but you may use your internship project
experience as university assignment as long as our internship program meets
the requirements defined by your academic institution and it does not hinder
the confidentiality of the information shared with you through the project.

24. Will I receive a job offer with Philip Morris International when I
complete my internship?
If you successfully complete both cycles of the INKOMPASS paid internship
program and meet the required performance standards, you may receive a
