Reducing the impact of infectious disease on village poultry production in Ethiopia NE W Objectives (i) Investigation of the wider social and economic impact of infectious poultry diseases in rural Ethiopia (ii) Identification of the infectious diseases with the greatest burden; and (iii) Unraveling of the genetic factors controlling resistance - tolerance of local chicken ecotypes to infectious disease. Reducing the impact of infectious disease on village poultry production in Ethiopia NE W Objectives (i) Investigation of the wider social and economic impact of infectious poultry diseases in rural Ethiopia (ii) Identification of the infectious diseases with the greatest burden; and (iii) Unraveling of the genetic factors controlling resistance - tolerance of local chicken ecotypes to infectious disease.
