1. A pre-assessment was given to two fifth grade inclusion classrooms to determine students' skill levels in vocabulary and reading comprehension. 2. The data was analyzed and deficits were identified in specific skills like context clues, main idea, and character analysis. 3. Targeted small group instruction was provided to address the deficits. 4. A post-assessment showed overall improvement in skills, though inclusion students demonstrated less growth than non-inclusion peers.
