How to select wind turbines
On the condition of the same wind farm, the same wind turbine capacity, the same blade diameter, and the
same tower height:
1. The lower the cut-in wind speed, the better.
2. The lower the rated wind speed, the better.
3. The higher the wind turbine availability, the better.
4. The less the annual maintenance cost, the better.
