Work/Project Experience:
Electrical Engineering Intern at Tetra Tech 5/16-Present
 Worked in the Electrical Engineering department on a variety of different teams and projects. I
am still currently working part time.
 Worked on mapping power distribution at Detroit Arsenal. Independently created a deficiency
report using test data, a living document to handle future changes, and an updated site map.
 Was also involved in a number of projects focused on designing controls for existing systems.
Contributed drawings for MCC’s, PLC’s, and overall site plans.
Grader for Engineering 100 9/15-12/15
 Was hired as a grader for Engineering 100 after having success in the class.
 Graded weekly assignments and exams, provided feedback based on past experience, and
worked with multiple professors and GSI’s to get work back to students.
STEM Workshop 9/15-12/15
 Worked in a group of five students to put together a STEM workshop for middles school students
at the Canton Public Library.
 Spent the semester communicating with the librarians about the needs of their patrons, available
space, timeline, and budget.
 Taught students about the design, build, test process by putting on a two hour hands-on workshop
centered on building a hot air balloon from a variety of materials.
Underwater ROV Project 1/15-4/15
 Worked on a team of five to design, build, and test an underwater ROV that navigated obstacles
and read in data for my freshman design course.
 Focused on designing and wiring controls as well as giving the elevator pitch for our ROV.
 Completed all obstacles in the final test and won the class presentation competition.
