Editor's Notes
As I mentioned already, our architecture is focused around a series of enabling technologies, or DEMETER ENABLERS as we refer to them. There are two types, Core and Advanced.
The DEMETER Core Enablers are mandatory for any interested stakeholder that wishes to expose or share its own resources or use the resources made available in the Hub, and provide support for communication and networking, semantic & functional interoperability and security protection, while they include a Client for the DEMETER Hub.
The DEMETER Advanced Enablers are optional and are discoverable and accessible in the DEMETER Enabler Hub. For example, they include Data & Knowledge Enablers, Decision Support and Performance Monitoring Enablers and Integrated Delivery Enablers.
