• A book with scribbled notes in it

Find inspiration by following and reading other
blogs.
Borrow ideas but don’t plagiarise as this scores
poorly with search engines (and the person’s
whose work you have nicked!)
#3 Ask your Audience
As your blog builds followers, ask your audience
what they would like to read and why.
The response can be surprising, as much as it is
challenging.
#4 Ask the Internet & Social Media
• As well as asking followers of your blog, ask
your social media audience
• Use the ‘survey’ facility onTwitter to engage
your followers by giving them three options
on what to write on next, for example
#5 Expand your Best Content
• Choose the blog post that got most likes,
shares and comments
• Expand on this – write Part 2 or expand a point
from the main article
• Re-share the original article before you post
the related content
#6 Follow trends or news stories
• When there is a news story or trend that can
be linked to your business or blog matter,
create something around it
• Be careful with controversial content – be
ready to manage comments and discussion
