Meet Janet
Janet is a 25 year old young lady who just graduated from college with
a degree in math.
Janet and her ex, Brian went out for a year. That’s long enough to start
thinking about marriage! She was torn to pieces and all her friends

If you don’t see ANYTHING that belongs to or came from
him, you will eventually drop the thought of him.
Of course this is on a case by case basis but you get the point right? Do
whatever will make you forget about him.
As you begin to work on cleaning out all remnants of him, your mind
will start the healing process. Don’t go calling him or even texting him.
Stay far away from Facebook for a couple of days too! You might
bump into some images that remind you of him.
This deals directly with how your mind works. Show it you mean
business by being one step ahead. Hell, block or delete his number and
delete all his texts if you must!

Surround yourself
Chances are that during your dating experience, you blocked out all or
most of your friends. Most “real” friends are still around and
understand completely. They have probably deserted you one time or
another to pursue a more intimate relationship.
This is the time to find them. You’re gonna hear the same mess you
heard before, “I told you so”! “He was no good for you anyway”! Be
very careful to weed out the negative in this process. They will let you
have it but only for a short period of time. Don’t allow them to bring
you down and make you feel like dog poop.
If you feel comfortable and they are willing, share your true feelings
with them. Tell them what made you feel the “angriest”, if that’s a
word. The idea here is to “vent” and let it all out with someone who
won’t judge you. They should be there for you and contribute to the
healing process you’ve started.
Ask them to hold you accountable and make sure you don’t call or
contact your ex in anyway. If you don’t have anyone, get on your
knees and ask God to take the pain away and help you move on with
a sincere heart.
Get out and about and surround yourself with positive influences. Do
this as often as it helps you focus on OTHER things.
Re-Focus
Let me ask you a question. I know we’ve covered some ground and I
hope it’s going to work wonders for you like it’s done for so many
others.

In fact, I did the same thing! Good news! Now is your chance to play a

I forgot about myself when dating. Usually the other person would
have to remind me of who I was. You are a person too! Maybe you
changed something about yourself that a new partner would love.
Bring that back. I know I changed a few things without even realizing.
After my last break up, I re-focused and revived a lot that I lost. My
wife couldn’t be happier and satisfied with who I am, just the way she
met me! Word to the wise, Never change, just adapt!

Do what you truly enjoy and love… A LOT!!!
Watch your favorite show or movie as many times as you wish!
Laugh a lot!
