Security Training – Making a Difference
GroupL has set-up a pan-India network of security training institutes to train security
guards as per the requirements of the PSAR Act (2005).
All guards are trained as per requirements of the Act before being deployed. Further they
receive regular refresher training.
Use of curriculum developed by the National Security Institute of the UAE to train guards in
India and deploy them abroad.
Operating the Kerala Governments’ Security Centre of Excellence to train Keralites for
employment opportunities in the global security market.
Conduct ‘Train the Trainer’ courses for the Security Knowledge & Skills Development
Council (SKSDC) in India. Train personnel on security skills for various state municipalities.
Offer specialised training as per client requirement to their employees on safety and
security. Clients include Cairn Energy, Honeywell India, Tata Motors Finance, Quikr etc.

We pay guards as per minimum wages in all
states.
Guards receive accurate and timely salary.

Guard’s Welfare
Guard of the month - Awarded to 1 in every 100 guards employed by us each month. This is
to recognise the guard in going beyond the call of his duty to serve and protect the customer.
Supervisory training – Each guard of the month is put on a fast track for promotion to
supervisory and subsequently field staff roles. For this they are put on quarterly training for a
year to give them sufficient understanding of their job requirements, responsibilities and
team management.
Grievance handling cell – All site staff receive calls from HO managers, once a month
enquiring about their wellbeing.
People’s trust – In case of death, funeral expenses looked after.
Development of barracks - Where all the needs of a security guard are looked in to.
