systemandit supportsbulktransferusing XCOM.There are variouscustom components built like
XCOMAIC, HTTP AIC, and EMAIL AIC to help transfer of files in different pattern.
Point of Sale (POS): The transactions happening in 426 outlets of Marks & Spencer spread across
globallyare collected andtransformedintoXML messages and sent to the subscribers internal to
Marks & Spencer like Foods, Finance, MSA, SSM and Data warehouse via BizTalk. The raw data
obtained from Stores are transformed into the desired format required for the Subscribers by
BizTalk. The data processed by POS is highly critical to Marks & Spencer as this depicts the sales
figures and this forms the basis for many important decisions.
Seattle Application(Amazon):ThisprojectusesBizTalk2004. CustomAdapters are developed for
meeting various client requirements. This project handles the online payment and internet
ordering.
Proginet (New IS04): This project is a planned replacement for the existing XCOMtransfer. The
proginetapplicationisfullybuiltinJavaandruns inthe Web Sphere environment. All the existing
